Setting UI Screen Background colour does not work

Hi

I am creating for the client and they would like them looking as realistic as possible. This means I want to make the screen background WHITE. The default for all screen objects in EA seems to be some form of OLIVE colour.

So, I attempt to change it by:
1> Select the screen object
2> Right clieck
3> Select Appearance -> Default Appearance
4> Change the background colour to White
5> Select Ok

Nothing happens!

Any ideas?

The element might be stereotyped and has a shape scipt.
