Hello,

Got the same error using the DBMS to .EAP.
How is that so?
Problem comming from DBMS? Data?
Where is the difference between DBMS and EAP, it should copy the table localy without any space problem no?

Well, there is a config file (not very well hidden, if you look in the right place), and I can see that it would be good to be able to make changes to it, e.g. to translate into French or add or remove items. However, it will be overwritten every time you reinstall or upgrade EA, so managing changes could be difficult. And of course it wouldn't be supported.

So best solution today,
modify Portals.xml in Sparx Systems/EA/Config and loose support  :-/

The fact that you need to manage in configuration this file is "not" a problem if you do not upgrade every day (which i dont, just need to stick a post it somewhere).
The fact that you loose support is far more upsetting.

I see that the portal "Extensions" is empty in the xml config file...
How does it load?
Could i put my MDG tech in there (with my own shortcuts)?

The recommended way is using the EA_LoadWindowManager broadcast from an addin. Search for "EA_LoadWindowManager" in the help. I haven't tried it personally, but it appears to add your own section to the "Extensions" perspective.

-   Does the "Extensions" chapter also combine with MDG (i can see a few in there)?
MDG are sexy for the user now with the provided pattern =)
-   Can we edit the original provided portal? (lets for exemple imagine i do not want to display one shortcut to the User (like... Start/Project/Cloud Connection or to modify what is displayed in Start/Help (supress some stuff, add my own link,...))?

If so, how so? Does an MDG do the trick?

No.
Dynamic is not par of EA HTML generation.
In fact this generation is really old and need some improvements

HTML generator is older than my grandma.
The diagrams are jpg/png so you always will have a white background (else use Sunshine solution bypass)
I wish they do-over the generator in order to get something that you can customise easily and or generate using scripting

Have you checked "scripts" at the bottom of the dialog?

Hello !

Little advice here!
I wrote a script (using custom templates and fragments and the docgenerator classe)  [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]

I need to know how to send it to the team.
I thought i could use XML import (Project> Model Import/Export> Export reference data) [size=16]BUT[/size] this only export my custom templates  
Is there a way (as easy as xml import export) to deploy JS/VB scripts?

My answers are only based on my knowledge of the MDG Doors a while ago but ...

MDG Link provides DOORS-users the import of DOORS® objects (including mapping of DOORS® Attributes to EA).

Is it also possible to import the doors links between the imported objects automatically?

No it does not import linksets (which contain links)

If not, is it possible to customize it??

You can't custom the MDG tech.
You'll have to develop your own tech BUT links are difficult to handle, i suggest you do in 2 parts. import elements. import links by retriving elements by using the tag values (contain doors values if i remember well)
