General Board / work disconnected

Hi,
My model is on a central DBMS repository, and is also under source control.  If I want to work on my model while disconnected from the central repository, is there a way for me to do this?  When I check the files out of source safe, there is a copy on my local machine, but how do I edit this copy w/o EA trying to make changes in the DB, and then how do I synch my work.

General Board / namespace setting

Hi,
I have been trying to set a sub-package as a namespace root.  However, when I do this, EA prepends the packages above it to the namespace name.  For me, this has meant that I am unable to synchronize my model w/ my current VS2005 project using MDG.  Does anyone know of a way to keep EA from prepending the super-packages to a namespace when I set a sub-package as the namespace root?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

General Board / Create a Communication Message

Hello,

I am using EA v4.1 and trying to create a communication diagram.  I am having trouble creating a message from one object to another.  I tried to use the help file, where it says to create an Association first, and then add the message to it.  However, it seems that I am doing something wrong, or the help file is outdated; when I right-click on the association, there is nothing that shows up in the context menu that would allow me to edit a messsage for that association.  Does anyone know how to do this in EA 4.1?

BTW - I saw the "Message" link in the Interaction Tools bar, but it does not seem to function the same as the messages in the help file.  (for example, there does not seem to be an automatic numbering feature).  Plus, why is there no such tool in the Communication Tools bar.
