Bugs and Issues / Portions of edits on diagrams not "sticking"

We are having problems with portions of diagrams diverting back to earlier states. We will edit a diagram then check it in to version control. Everything is fine when we look at it then. Then later when we go back to the diagram it will reflect some of the edits while other edits revert back to the way it was before the edit. We are using Serena Dimensions for our version control system.

Bugs and Issues / Linking to locked elements

We have sections of our models that need to be locked once it passes V&V. The issue is that as we develop other sections, we must link (associative) to elements within the locked model. Once we lock the section though, EA prevents this linking. Any suggestions?
