General Board / Extending DoDAF-MODAF MDG Technology

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to write an architecture following the NAF (NATO Architecture Framework) version 3, which is based on MODAF version 1.2, but the metamodel is extended.
I'm using the DoDAF-MODAF MDG Technology as a basis, but it is based in an older version of MODAF, so the metamodel should be changed.
The problem is when I try to change or extend it, I don't find the MODAF extensions, stereotypes or anything I could use!

Am I trying the right thing? Is possible modifying the metainformation installed with that extension or the only way is building the complete metamodel from the scratch?

Hi everybody,

Is there any documentation about the internal metamodel which is used by Enterprise Architect? I'm having problems trying to extend the model with new profiles, because many elements of the UML standard are not available (for example abstract elements).

General Board / UML for Testing Profile

Since some days ago, I'm trying to extend the UML metamodel of Enterprise Architect with the UML Testing Profile (U2TP).

Unfortunately the model is using some metaclasses not supported by EA (for example StructuredClassifier, or Property), therefore the simple creation of a new Profile in EA (as described in the standard) is not possible.

Additionally the OMG document includes a MOF schema, but is based on the MOF version 2.0 and EA does not support that MOF version.

Can anybody give me some hints for using EA with U2TP?
