Suggestions and Requests / DDL Generation - Sequence naming
« on: November 24, 2004, 10:39:52 am »
We have a corporate requirement that we must have the sequences we generate match the following reference: TableName_SEQUENCE (to work with our corporate j2ee framework)... EA generates them as TableName_PrimaryKey_SEQ.

Can we use EA to generate ours as needed?  Ie, can we change how its generated?

Would love to see this option available in an upcoming release, if possible, as it would make life a bit easier!

Thanks

General Board / Reverse Code Engineering

I have java code that I reverse engineered, and it gave me the class diagrams for the code... is there any option in EA that I have missed that will allow me to reverse engineer the code as sequence or activity diagrams?

Thanks
Jason

I know how to create indexes in EA, but I was curious about composite indexes (more than one column) in EA.  Any suggestions?  Did I miss something?

Thanks

Thanks, but I tried that and I don't see any where you can alter the way SQL DDL is output.  Am I missing something?

Thanks

General Board / Documentation
« on: October 06, 2004, 06:51:32 am »
I am trying to create an RTF format documentation of screens I made in EA - the only issue I am running into - if I have more than 1 screen in  a package, the screens are printed out first, and then the documentation behind those screens - I was hoping that the documentation would follow each screen rather than after the package - am I missing an option??  Or is this how it is?

Thanks
Jason

At times things don't show up from one computer to the other and then other times when we close the application and reopen it, there is alot of garbage on some of the screens we worked on.  Not sure what is causing it.

Does anyone have experience with sharing an EAP file (same project - two people)?  We have been having some issues.

Thanks
Jason
