Bugs and Issues / Invalid option -- C during checkout

Hello,
I'm just evaluating Enterprise Architect and encoutered the following problem:
We use CVS for version control and I installed TortoiseCVS because it is used within the tutorial-movies. It works in principle but when I try to checkout a package I get the error message "cvs server: invalid option -- C" followed by a list of allowed options.
Is there any way to overcome this?
My versions are TortoiseCVS 1.10.7, CVSNT 2.5.03 Build 2382, EA 7.1.831.
