I make a mistake, I deselect the checkbox "Show this dialog on document creation" when I create linked document on an element.
well,,, Ctrl+Alt+D don't show any dialog and I can't select doc-template .
What can be done to make the software show this dialog again?

I have encountered a trouble when I editing linked document. The spell-check system does not recognize Chinese. so, everywhere is red underline.
I have found an option in right-click context pop menu whose named "auto spell", but It seemed only affect current document and the setting is dosen't  saved by EA. next time, when I want shut down spell check I must click menu option agin.
Is there someway to shut down the auto spell checking system ?

thanks everyone in upstairs.  

I found when I copy some graph to clipboard. The data type is enhanced metadata which is in the clipboard. I think it is some kinds of vector image, and word will do something special with it.
I guess it is the root of the bug.

Is there any option in EA which controls clipboard type? May I control the clipboard? sometimes user just want a sample figure. It is too inconvenient to convert EA UML graph to a sample image in manual way. I have tried use screen-capture tool, but I found I will get a distortion result in most time.

Usually, I use clipboard copy/past UML graph to word. I found a very troublesome problem.
It can be reappear in following steps.
1. Open the sample project which is brought by EA installation.
2. Open arbitrary UML graphics, and copy all elements, items to clipboard.
3. Start MS-Word(My version is 2010), and create a new document, then, paste the UML graphics to WORD, which is in clipboard.
4. Save the document as a html document.
5. Open the html document with MS-Internet Explorer.
Then, you will found, all the text in the IE looks in wrong effects. It's look like to be bolded and indistinct.
It is make me so trouble. dear administer, do you have some good ideal?

hello
I download ea9.1 trial version. and create a defualt class model.
there are some class in the model fold. like class1, class2, class3.

follow the step, I want generate c++ souce code.
1. tools->options->source code engineering->set c++ is default code.
2. disable other language, eg, java, C#
3. select class model node in project brower, and click right bottom call the context menu. select source code engineering->generate source code.
and I found the result of operation is java source not c++ source.

if I do generate operation on single class, like class1, the result is .h and .cpp

please help, thanks a lot!

Ok, sorry, I had not described it clear. try again
action
1. I have a class in EA project browser.
2. export the class to external header file.
3. append some methodes declaration in the header file.
4. select the class in project browser and press F7 to do synchronizing action.
5. select the class in project and press F10 to call method editor dialog.
6. I found all method of the class in the dailog are became to state that not save yet. when pick one of them, you will found the [save] button will be enable, and if you change your selection to other method, a message box will tip you to save last one, so trouble. it seem the synchronizing action reset the save/not save status. in my opinion, EA should auto save when "import"/"synchronizing" are completed.

1. import cpp or doing synchronization.
2. select the modfied class element press f10
issue:
all method tip you have not saved it yet. so trouble. Is that is a bug? Is there way to save all?

I am the beginner of EA. I encounter a trouble, please help.
My version control system is CVS. By the guide of help document
I successfully put my project into CVS and cooperate with others.
But some problem happened. some one checked out the model, and the
guy is lose contact in the weeks. unfortunately, The model which
be checked out by this guy had not check-in. When I wish to edit the
model, EA tell me "The model has checked-out...". the model go into
a dead-lock. no one can edit again unless the disappeared man came back.
If I have some way to force check in or cancel the check out flag?
