General Board / Re: Who owns connectors?
« on: October 15, 2004, 01:12:31 am »
Hi!

I assume that connectors (entries in t_connector) between elements in a controlled package are stored in the xml (XMI) file, but how about those that connect elements belonging to different controlled packages?
Are they "serialized" to both? What happens if they no longer match when reading in the two packages?

Please tell me if this is the right forum to discuss this issue.

Hi!

As connectors don't show up in the project view, it is not obvious where they live.
I wonder  where the information about a connector between elements in two different controlled packages is stored.

You could attach a note (coupled to the tag)....

Hi!

Have you tried to expand the souce table in the project view while a diagram with the target table is shown and then click and drag the columns (one at a time)?

Thank you for the suggestion!
It was very intresting to look into the automation interface. The code producing a good starting point for my needs kan be found at http://amancay.net/code/DirCv.zip

Hi!

Is it possible to "read" in a directory structure as you do with source code and just creating Components for each file (any kind!).
It would be wonderfull for documentation purposes.
