Yes, I forgot to say that I would like to edit properties of all selected elements at once. In Properties Pane it would be enough.
Strange is that it was possible some time ago due to a bug. Now the bug is away and the feature as well :-(

For some properties (status included) you may use Update Package Status function.

You will find it in context menu of a package in Project Browser. Package Control|Update Package Status.

Create an activity and three partitions. Make the activity larger, move two of the partitions on the activity (it connects automaticaly), you might need to set activity appearance Z-Order to Bottom. Make the third vertical (context menu, Advanced, vertical partition) and move it over the activity as well.

Yes it is sure there, we use it in domain models. As usual it is not so visible for use.
1. rightclick on any label on connector

You may save diagrams (Ctrl+T) in emf or wmf. Zooming is working well.
