Viking, ourFrameworx Content Packs are supplemental content that we developed at Sparx Services North America to jumpstart and accelerate end-users' ability to immediately exploit the TM Forum's reference models. The majority of the content has been loaded into EA using TMF-specific ArchiMate-based extensions, but the Open APIs and Common JSON Schemas have been loaded based on our REST 2.0 MDG Technology (based on UML).

Pricing is dependent on how it is packaged with product licensing, usage of our cloud platform, and consulting services. Feel free to email me at [email protected] or [email protected] for more information.

Thanks, Chris ~:|

General Board / Re: Best way to model REST web services?

APG has put together a Sparx EA UML profile for modeling REST applications. We're working on getting our new resource portal up and  hope to have that resource available for download soon. If you're interested in seeing it sooner, let us know.

Uml Process / Re: Alternative to DFD diagram with UML

I'd suggest using an information flow for this (which is considered an "Auxillary Construct" in UML 2): http://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/12.0/standard_uml_models/using_information_flows.html

Per UML 2.4.1: "The InformationFlows package provides mechanisms for specifying the exchange of information between entities of a
system at a high level of abstraction."

Yes, we ran into similar problems extending ArchiMate elements. I contacted Sparx tech support and they confirmed it was an issue (to be addressed in some future release). You might want to submit this as well, so they can consider the issues you've encountered.
