Suggestions and Requests / Change Management Reports
« on: June 03, 2003, 06:27:27 am »
I have looked through this discussion forum at length and see many questions regarding reporting changes to packages, etc., but no real answers.  I would really like a way to easily see all the element changes in a list.  The RTF reports show too much information.  When using the date filter, it will show elements that have had a connection removed, for example (valid change of course), but does not have an official change recorded.  I want to list only elements that have a "Element Issue/Defect/Change/Task" in the maintenance window.

Thanks,

Dale Kerber

General Board / Lost links to files
« on: July 29, 2003, 07:04:13 am »
Has anyone created links in the UseCase dialog under the file tab and lost those links?  After the original save of those file links, I have been back and added others.  I have ruled out 'hit the cancel instead of OK' and no replication conflicts either.  Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

DK

Thanks in advance!

 :)
Thank you very much.  This did what I wanted it to do, but it the RTF documentation only shows the link to the table and not any information about the role.  i installed 3.5.1.605 today, but that did not help for the UI elements.

Very pleased with EA,

General Board / Attaching/Linking Attributes/Columns to UI Element
« on: March 11, 2003, 05:55:52 am »
I am diagraming a UI using the custom diagram with Screens and UI Controls.  I would like to link attributes to the UI Control so that designer know which data elements I am refering to in the database or class.  Drag and drop does not work and attribures are not available on the context menu.  Ideally, I could to a shallow copy of an attribure.  Any ideas?

Thanks!
