Suggestions and Requests / Import/Export of tests using 'CSV Import/Export'

Hi All

I would be nice if it was posibile to import/export tests in CSV format. This would be helpful in the following situation: lets say a tester which doesn't have a license of EA runs a series of tests generated from the EA in an word document format. Updates the word document with the new results of each test. Then she wants to import into EA the entire document.

I tried to do this by first transforming the word document into a csv format and import this format into EA. However, EA doesn't allow me to create import specifications with customised columns. And, worse, it doesn't have the facility to import tests from cvs files (or any other format).

Hello All

What about having the posibility to customaly design a form in EA?
This could be a developer version of EA.
E.g.: Now writing a test in EA is done through a form containing two groups of information: 'Test Details and Execution Status' and 'Execution'. When generating the test documentation all the fields will be exported as columns and tests as entries.

So, extending this idea, one should be able to design her own form, fill in the information, save and export in a similar way as tests are handled.
I think this is a good extension, because users can maintain in EA other kind of documents which contain tables e.g.: Project Reviews, Project Definition etc.

Uml Process / Writing tests in EA

Hi All

I am trying to write some tests in EA. So far, I noticed that if an use-case has a scenario one can import it into a test defined against the scenario.
In my project I have associations between use-cases and requirements.
However, I would like to be able to write tests which can be run on several requirements. That would imply that I should be able to create a new test, which should be linked to several requirements and which can be built from already defined tests against use-cases. Unfortunatly, this is not possibile.
Has anybody tried to do this before or may have an idea how to write a test which tests several requirements using already defined tests against the use-cases?
