Suggestions and Requests / Selecting links or setting default appearance

Suppose I want to make all Generalization links in a model (logical diagram) red. How do I do this? Apparently I can't.
Two features would do the trick:
a) In Tools:Options:Links, a button could invoke a dialog where one could pick colour defaults (and other appearance attributes such as line thickness) for links by type (realization, generalization, nesting, association, etc.).
b) Edit:Select by Type could be split into two menu options, Select Elements by Type and a Select Links by Type. The latter would then allow one to select links based on their type (realization, generalization, nesting, association, etc.).
