Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Import BPEL

As it seems there is no way to import a BPEL I was thinking of using the automation interface EA provides.

Can anyone tell me which has already used these interfaces how easy / hard this would be ?

Eg. just to create a new BPEL process based on the .bpel file.
Or even update a existing BPEL process from a .bpel file.

Any help hints and ideas on how this is best done are highly appreciated
