General Board / select multiple items in batch document generation
« on: November 29, 2013, 08:34:10 pm »
Hello,

I have quite a number of resource documents created which can be used to create RTF files via batch document generation. However, there I have only the option to select all or none items. If I want to select a block but not all items, I have to select them on by one.

I have tried all sorts of common shortcuts to tick multiple items at a time, but with no success. Does anyone has an idea how I can do this? It would save me quite some time as have to do this quite regular.

Thanks,
Oliver

Hello,

good to know, however, we have here the Corporate edition. So the question remains, why I cannot edit the scripts within EA :(

Thanks,
Oliver

Hello,

I have scripts which I like to edited within EA and although I can open them it is not possible to edit them there (all functions are disabled and grey). Currently I have to edit them in an external editor and restart EA.
How can I edit my scripts in EA?

Thanks,
Oliver

Hi,

we are using the Batch Document Generation dialog to generate our documents. However, the model is split into various groups and subgroups. Therefore we have about a 100 documents to select in the Batch Document Generation dialog. The dialog has only a select/deselect all documents option, but I like to select only certain groups. I can mark with SHIFT-mouseclick all documents I like, but I have not found a way to check/uncheck the checkboxes of these elements. Has anyone an idea how to do this? Or is the a way to preselect only certain elements, as the current default is to select all documents?

Thanks already for any hint,
Oliver
