The password for the SSKeyStore.exe is found in your registration text. Please be aware that the 3rd character in the installer password is a lower case "L".

The User Manual is now up to 1189 pages long so you will need a few reams of paper to print it out (and strong hands if you want to hold it). You can download it from http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/ea_downloads.htm. The File name is EAUserGuide.pdf (right click and choose the "Save As" option.

Hello Marcal,

There is an option in EA to remap the Keyboard as you require by using the Tools | Customize option. From the Customize dialog box select the Keyboard tab and from here you will be able to reassign the shortcut keys.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for this posting.

We have resolved the problem with the support mailbox, the mailbox should be working correctly now. The problem was caused by an abnormally high influx of spam email.

General Board / Re: MDG standalone?
« on: August 12, 2008, 12:59:24 pm »
MDG Technologies, MDG Integrations and MDG Links require the Professional, Corporate or Corporate Floating editions of EA in order to function.

The MDG products are not available as stand alone products.

* Please note additional software requirements may be stipulated, so you should consult the relevant system requirement page for each product.

The cost to upgrade from one version of EA to another is dependant on whether or not you have a current registered user subscription. If your subscription is current, you can download and install the new version of EA at no additional cost. If your registered user subscription has expired you can purchase a subscription renewal, a renewal will give you access to new builds and versions of EA for a further 12 months. Subscription renewal fees are calculated at one-third of the current full license cost for the edition you hold at the time of renewal.

For more information on purchasing a subscription renewal you can contact the sales department at [email protected].

To move EA from one PC to another, you should back up your model files and then transfer them to your new PC. You can use your existing registration key for the installation of EA on your new machine. You should also ensure that you limit your concurrent usage of EA to the number of licenses that you own.

Sparx can locate your registration key if you email [email protected] with some details of your original purchase. Useful details include the purchase email address, company name, order number and the order date.

General Board / Re: Purchasing EA - Download or CD
« on: July 13, 2006, 11:20:54 pm »
Typically EA is available as an electronic download which current is approximately 25mb in size.

If you would like a CD version of EA, you can purchase one at the same time as you buy EA from ShareIT. If you purchase EA from Regsoft there will not be an option to buy the CD. Alternatively you can burn your registered copy of EA onto a CD once you download the installation executable.

Registered users can update a current version of EA from an earlier build to the latest build by downloading the patch file. The patch is available from the http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/registered/reg_ea_down.html page.

Please be aware that the patch file will not upgrade from a previous version to the current version and does not include the latest help file. The latest help file is available from http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/products/ea_downloads.html.

General Board / Re: Using EA floating licences in 'mixed' mode
« on: July 03, 2006, 06:38:09 pm »
Setting up two keystores does not require any additional hardware.

Each keystore should be saved in separate directories in the file system to help the users identify which keystore they are using for example one keystore could be called local_users and the other remote_users.

Probably the easiest method of allowing a mixed mode of operation with your keystore, would involve the creation of two separate keystores.

One keystore should be used for your out of office users and the other for your office users.  The keys from your available pool should be divided between the keystores according to your user requirements.

Currently the MDG Link software does not require renewal, this may change in the future, but you can be assured that the minimum level of support for the MDG Link and the upcoming MDG Integrate for VS 2005 will be for 12 months.
