General Board / Re: Logical Data Modelling in SPARX

@Richard: You need to place images on a public server (e.g. imgurl) and use the link with the 1st icon 2nd line. Welcome to the 21st century.

Sorry to get off-topic, but IMO a forum incapable of image attachments is anything but "21st century". This came across as an unnecessarily condescending response.

Bugs and Issues / Re: UAF ERROR:"Model Template Pattern failed to load.
« on: October 10, 2018, 04:54:22 am »
I'm in the (similar?) boat, I have just upgraded to v14, I'm attempting to use the Model Wizard and get TOGAF patterns.

The instructions in help file C:\Program Files (x86)\Sparx Systems\User Guide\model_domains\togaf_model_patterns.html suggest to navigate
Model Wizard window, select the 'Model Patterns' tab.
^-- this is as far as I get.
In the 'Technology' panel select 'Framework'
^-- I don't get the 'Framework' choice. The closest I can see is "Enterprise Architecture -> TOGAF". But then I get no pattern names and the same error as OP: "Model Template Pattern failed to load. Ensure the selected template file is available." error.

The items below are nowhere to be found for me:
and in the 'Name' panel select from the TOGAF Patterns:
•ADM
•Enterprise Continuum
•TOGAF Model (includes both ADM and Enterprise Continuum)
•TOGAF-Catalogs
•TOGAF-TRM
•FEAF-PRM
•FEAF-TRM

Does this have to do with me only having Sparx EA Professional Edition?

P.S. To clarify, I did download and install the TOGAF MDG add-in from http://www.sparxsystems.com/registered/reg_ea_down.html - no change in behaviour. TOGAF seems to just have a stub under Model Wizard ->Model Patterns -> (Enterprise Architecture) TOGAF for me.
