i think you can solve this EA 11 with Windows 10 compatibility problem as follow :

1- install EA 11 on Windows 10
2- install the latest EA trail version i.e. EA 14
3- Open EAtrail version and keep it open
3- reinstall EA 11 as it is over written by the new EA trail version 
enjoy EA 11 as it should NOT crash
