It has been 10 years ago since last reply, but did anyone find a proper solution?
Trust Boundary is not in the DFD toolbox yet in v15.

Hello everyone/Eve.

I have found another hint: The bugged version includes a 'TOGAF' tab inside the Element properties, while the old version does not, nor do other elements in the bugged version have this.

What I mean is this.
Versus the unbugged version's element properties

I have no clue how I got this to be, does anyone know how that can be added, and subsequently how to get rid of it?

Many thanks!

edit: fixed links

Bugs and Issues / Re: V14 Serious Bugs in Archimate3 implementation

If I create a Composition relation via Quick Link, it is graphically incorrect: it is shown like a Serving relation

I checked your last statement. To be more exact, the Quick Link 'Composes' has this bug (Composed by works fine), and the connector shown then is not a Serving relation, but a Combination of Serving and Composition, see this link:

It would appear that you have an image of an archimate component replacing the default appearance.

In the context menu shown you have 'Select Default Image...', 'Select Alternate Image...' and 'Select Image Asset as Alternate Image'. Select each of these. The first two should have an item ---NONE--- at the top of the list. The last will have <none> at the bottom of the tree.

Thanks for the advise Eve, but it did not help.
No change whatsoever to the image, while all three submenus are set to ---NONE--- / <none>. The context appearance submenu item "Show/hide name under image" remains visible.
Do you have any other clues?
Many thanks.

Hello,

I am at a loss regarding the image of an Archimate_ApplicationComponent. I attempted to give it another appearance but after that was giving an unsatisfied result I tried to revert but it is stuck in some kind of weird representation, compared to all the other ApplicationComponents on the diagram and in the model.

Bugged image:

This item does have an extended Appearance menu with the "Show/hide name under image", which indicates (according to the Changing Element Appearance user guide) that it is an Alternative Image shown, but it is impossible to revert somehow.

Even when delete all the instances&links of this model element and recreate a Link to this model element, it shows the bugged image again.
When I recreate an Instance (Component) of this model element, the image is normal, but it is also a new element in the Model Project Browser.

When I open an older project with the same element, it does show properly, without extended element appearance menu:

Appearance menu:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1bLQUFfZk-QwRP-crt_lvOktdwoM7QB-W

I cannot recall how to reproduce, and I preferably do not want to model/draw it again due to the child diagram within it.
How can I proceed?

I'm using v14.0.1423. Upgrade to v15 is not an easy option on this company laptop (it's not made available yet)

Many thanks.
