I don't think another version exists. ..
Ok.  Was just double making sure .

PS. What's with the "windoze"? Is that some kind of Linux nerd lingo?

... why adult professionals apparently feel the need to use that instead ...

My bad ! There is/was no much reason for that.

EDIT: - I removed the extra comment. It wasn't bad, but let's just stay light.    RoyC

EA 15 as the Specifications view, where you can open , I think any, folder/package in it, and it lists the contents.
( I think shortcut is Cntrl-0 to open it ..)

One issue i have, say I have "requirements" folder, and inside it i have two sub-packages (yes, a package object) - "essential" and "advanced".   If I open each of these sub-folders/packages in the Specifications list then their contents, individually , are all listed fine.

But if I open the root , the "requirements" folder, then it does not list the requirements - it does not go into the sub-packages or folders.  So I would have to manually go and open those sub-packages in the Spec list.
Is there a flag somewhere to make the Spec view recurse / go into all sub-folders/packages .. ?

Also, i couldn't figure out if it is possible to save / accumulate this spec list - i.e. how can I first say, open "essential" requirements, save the Specs, then open "advanced", and add those into the saved Specs. Each time I re-open that Specs view, it just lists the contents of what element/package I'm opening.

Ideally, I can open anything from different models, and add to this Spec list. I thought that's the idea with that feature but I can't figure out how to use it.

General Board / Re: EA15 - How do I change font size in <<custom table>> ?

I'm not sure what you mean.

But on a model graph / view, I can, usually  , change the font - through default appearance - of any element and individually too.

For example, say a (text) Note element. I can change its default appearance's font, which then changes the font the text is displayed inside that Note, on the model view/graph.

General Board / Re: HTML report : poor / small diagrams generated

There are a few places where there are settings related to diagram images. ....

Ok, which places?

Server, or not :  I examine the size of the actual png files that it generates and puts into the HTML folder with all other report files. Its very small, and, what I was trying to explain, it is different to size when I just copy & paste the same diagram, or , save to file / image.   Those then, - when saved individually - do get proper size, and in fact, that scaling option , from settings, does work.

But , I see no option of how I can increase the quality of those images for the HTML report.  Where ?   If you know, please tell me where.

.Anyway, when I do a HTML export the diagram images are large enough and can be zoomed in without getting blurry. ..

That is nice, but I need then to fix it in my EA then.

... Chrome does not allow you to run Javascript from local html files. ..

Chrome or not, the story is the same... (i mean, same image files are rendered).  But yes, I do test in Explorer, Edge, and Chrome with the plugin required (there is a plug-in which allows you to render it locally too).

No luck.  So if someone knows where all those settings are -  I refer specifically to ones which affect the image quality for the HTML - please share  / tell me.  I cannot find any that work.

The ones that don't see to do anything is the image scaling settings + max image size - those do only affect my copy& paste image, but NOT for my HTML generated images.

And another thing,

Is that the only HTML creator available for EA?  I mean , what it generates as I understand requires MS Windows Active X, Explorer, or such support. Which isn't optimal for me, best is something which wouldn't rely on this.

Any options ..?

General Board / HTML report : poor / small diagrams generated
« on: September 28, 2019, 12:14:42 am »
Would like to be used that HTML report, for now one problem I have is that the diagram image sizes it generates, for some reason, are too small or not as good as they would be if I just copied to clipboard and pasted do a doc - that quality is great, and I see where/who to adjust that. It also prints good size/quality do a PDF or RTF or MS doc.

But for HTML .. no, it puts small size images, which when you try to magnify in browser, are just . .sorry to say are just way too blurry to  be of use.

So where / how can I adjust this? I would like it to use the same quality images as if I c&p them.

My EA is ver 15.

General Board / EA15 - How do I change font size in <<custom table>> ?
« on: September 25, 2019, 10:51:10 am »
I thought to insert a custom table, for a quick spreadsheet like  ..

But I cannot, at all, change the font size inside it - i.e. in the table itself.  It stays lookslike at default 8.
I tried setting Default Appearance Font Size, set to 14 - nothing.  It does not only not change the font in cells, it doesn't change the heading/name size (element name).

Even when I try print it to PDF, the font size is still small, and if I try to zoom in, it blurs to a bad quality .

How do yo do it ??
