Thank you, I have reported this as bug with the bug report.

in EA 15.2 (also in EA 15) it is really annoying that the ability to show a Composite Diagram in frame feature is broken.
Link to screenshot: https://ibb.co/9hM8T2s

In previous versions (EA 13) it worked great.
On the original diagram I was able to adjust the size of the boundary, now it does this automatically.
On the previous version when I showed a Composite Diagram Frame I was able to connect to the parameters on the same position as in the original diagram.
Please fix this bugg

Kind regards,

General Board / Re: Conditional Looping in SysML Activity Diagrams
« on: July 11, 2020, 12:22:39 am »
Hi Miquel,

Isn't it possible to also use a control flow, run both your activities in parallel and with creating loops in each parallel path with decision nodes and merges?
And with the control flow you can activate the send signals.

Kind regards,

Does somebody know how I can adjust the incoming and outgoing connector positions on an element?

I want to give the SysML "Merge" or "Decision" element a shape of a logic OR.
The "Merge" and "Decisions" can only have connectors on the south, north, east and west position of the element.
Where on a "Class" or "Block" you can connect your connector everywhere on the boundary of the element.

I want the ability to connect my connectors everywhere on the boundary of the logic OR, and I want the Logic OR to be a stereotype of the "Merge" or "Decision".
Could somebody tell me if it is possible and how I can achieve this with the shape script?

Kind regards,

Bugs and Issues / show composite diagram
« on: June 06, 2020, 11:53:42 pm »
In EA 15.0
I made een activity with activity parameters.
Than I build a child diagram of this activity.
Now I want to show this composite diagram of this activity.
What happens is all my activity parameters are moved, all lines are crossed and the composite diagram showed is a mess.

Why is this function broken? On earlier versions of EA it worked.
And when is it fixed again?

Kind regards

Suggestions and Requests / Executable SysML FlashLight
« on: May 20, 2020, 03:55:24 am »
In Enterprise Architect it is possible to execute a StateMachine or Activity Diagram.
But in most cases this isn't enough.
I want to create just a simple simulation of a system to show how these diagrams will interact.
I found this 'easy' tutorial of a Flashlight in the tooling Cameo Systems Modeler:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Il3V3KOFvTM&t=494s
I create this in Enterprise Architect, but I only can execute the individual state daigrams.
Do I miss something in Enterprise Architect and is it already possible with Enterprise Architect ?

Or is the simulation part in EA weak and is it time to update this part?

Kind regards,

Bugs and Issues / Re: Quick Linker and Activity diagrams
« on: April 17, 2020, 03:45:06 pm »
In build 1528 I also have these problems when trying to create an activity diagram with a control flow.
I can't even reproduce the ModelWizard in SysML Perspective suggested Activity with Actions and Control Flows.

to reproduce the buggs here are steps to get to them:
1.1) let the model wizard build the "Activity with Actions and Control Flows" pattern.
1.2) try to create with the quicklinker a control flow from the "activity initial" to the "1.1a: 1.1 Activity" action.
1.3) you will get the pop-up with "The requested connection is not UML compliant".

2.1) let the model wizard build the "Activity with Actions and Control Flows" pattern.
2.2a) try to create a control flow with the quicklinker between one of the actions, it doesn't show the option control flow.

2.2b) When you select control flow in the tool box and then drag a line between the actions, it creates an object flow with actionpins.

Hope this will help to solve this. I also do a roll-back to 15.0, can't work with this version.

Uml Process / Re: Components + Interfaces and sequence diagrams
« on: March 31, 2020, 08:05:52 pm »
I'm curious if Sparx has an answer to this question and if you have found a workaround for this.

My question is in line with this question and can perhaps be solved with the answer on this topic.
How do I have to configure ports provided and required to get the interface operations only available in one direction in a sequence diagram?

Kind regards,
