Thank you. That makes the trick.

Suggestions and Requests / Column sizes
« on: October 17, 2022, 09:33:58 pm »
Every times "Find in all diagrams" is selected, the popup window listing the diagrams has small columns, and the Diagram Type texts are truncated.

The size can be changed manually, but then it is eventually reset.
Can you make it wider?

Suggestions and Requests / Pan with mouse
« on: October 17, 2022, 06:53:27 pm »
Zooming in and out with ctrl+mouse wheel is very convenient.
One could alzo zoom using vertically the mouse wheel, and horizontally with Shift + mouse wheel, but this is way less convenient.
There is also the possibility to pan using the middle mouse, but that is amazingly not convenient, as it is super slow and it does not use the natural directions.

A very convenient option would be to have some combination like

CTRL+Mouse Click

to freely pan using the mouse, like in Photoshop and many other tools (see for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vezFqddDqUc)

@qwerty, I don't understand, was that a serious answer?

Hi!
When editing an ArchiMate diagram, all the elements in the Toolbox use the Rectangle Notation.

This makes the icons very small and not so convenient to distinguish.

There are few exceptions: for example, in "Archimate 3.1 / Application / Active Structure Concepts"  the Application Component is represented as an icon rather than using the Rectangle Notation.

I think that editing would be a bit more convenient if elements would be represented with Icons, instead of with Rectangle Notations

Cool! That's perfect! Thank you!

Bugs and Issues / Re: + symbol when moving an element

Hi querty
thank you the reply!
I'm not sure I understand it, though.

Hi
thank you!
Yes, correct, selecting a different language is possible.
Still, having Java as a default in a new project sounds just arbitrary.

9
When an Element is added to a Diagram (e.g. a Business Actor in an ArchiMate Organization diagram), accessing Properties / General the value for Language is Java, rather than <none>.

I don't see why Java should be the default for any newly created Elements.

Bugs and Issues / + symbol when moving an element
« on: September 29, 2021, 11:56:16 pm »
In the Project Browser, when an Element is drag&dropped from one Package to another (without any key being held), the mouse pointer shows + symbol is displayed, suggesting that a copy is in place, even if the Element is being only moved.
If the key ALT is held, the + symbol goes away.

I think the UI could be made more consistent.
