Hi, I'm using DBB to read structures from Oracle. Tables are loaded well including table columns. However VIEWS are loaded without view columns. Is there a workaround for that ? I read somewhere that the is an option to "Import from DDL" but I can not find this option. Many thanks for help.

Bugs and Issues / Wrong backgroud color on Triggering arrow
« on: November 16, 2023, 03:31:34 am »
Dear friends,

we always use default colors in EA. Then it is easy to switch to another color scheme. However, in archimate TRIGGERING relationshit there is a wrong setting of text background color that makes the text unreadeable in DART scheme.

Way to reproduce
  • Set Start / Appearance / Preferences / Diagram / Themes to Flatline
  • open new archimate diagram of type Business layer / Application usage
  • add two ArchiMate_Busienss process components into diagram
  • join these two business processes with Triggering relationship and add name XXXX to this relationship
  • name XXXX is perfectly visible on the screen
  • now switch to DARK scheme, text XXXX is white on light yellow backgroup and thus not visible anymore
  • white on light yellow backgroup instead of transparent is the problem

Thanks for the fix

Bugs and Issues / Wrong background color in BMP/PNG file
« on: November 10, 2023, 11:28:07 pm »
Friends,

when I export diagram to BMP/PNG image, the background color is wrong - it differs to background color in EA screen. Screen shows dark background, BMP image shows light background.

Steps to reproduce
  • Set Start / Appearance / Preferences / Diagram / Themes to Flatline - this will set default diagram background to light color
  • Choose one diagram and open it, open Properties / Theme and changed the Theme to Dark, colors on this particular diagram changes to dark ones including background, very nice
  • export this diagram using CTRL+C / CTRL+V or using Publish / Save / Save to file / BMP, PNG, ... - you will see the light background color, very ugly :-(

Thanks for help.

General Board / CTRL+C of diagram does not contain background color

Dear friends, I decided to discuss what seems to be a bug ;-) However I maybe miss some setting somewhere inside. What's the problem
  • My visual style is set to Microsoft office 2016 / Dark gray
  • So my diagrams has a light background color
  • Some diagrams are easy to read in dark, so on Diagram level, in Preperties / Theme I changed the Theme to Dark
  • However, when I make a copy of this diagram using CTRL+C and CTRL+V to email for example, the diagram has dark colors but the background is light :( This seems to me a bug

Am I doing something wrong ?

Sorry it is not easy to insert screenshots here, it would be easy to show it on snapshots :-(

Thanks.
