This topic is still hot! I am trying to do the same now.
Reg. the grammar files there are now actually one for Java (and several other languages) in the installation folder
under C:\Program Files\Sparx Systems\EA\Code Samples\Grammar_Samples

My goal is to make it possible to import Kotlin code into EA. Any who has achieved this yet?

we submitted feature request - support SVG for API function PutDiagramImageToFile() - early this year.

Is it possible to save diagrams to SVG using the Automation Interface yet? I tried using the PutDiagramImageToFile method (https://sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/16.1/add-ins___scripting/project_2.html), like I would do with a .png file, with parameters (GUID, "filename.svg", 1) and it produces no file, but returns true which seems weird. EA version is 16.1.1622.

Is there a solution to this problem?  I am using EA 15.2.1558.  The model wizard displays the UAF template as an option (MDG shows UAF 1.1), but when I select the "Create Pattern", an error is generated "Model Template Pattern failed to load.  Ensure the selected template file is available".
