Greetings around!

It would be great to have some documentation about how types and stereotypes within each of EA used (built-in) technologies and perspectives map to the basic UML types...

For me the perspective in question is the new Data Warehousing perspective in 17.0 beta - quite hard to choose which element type will be appropriate for modeling without understanding on which UML type it is based on (is it based on Class, Activity, Action etc.) :)

Would appreciate if somebody of EA team could provide such mapping (even for beta ;) )

Best regards to EA team and whole EA community,

General Board / EA connection to MS Fabric delta-lake
« on: July 26, 2024, 04:02:23 pm »
Greetings, community!

New user here (although I've looked at trials of various versions during last 10 years - that's why I convinced my superiors to obtain license  :) ).
I'm working as data warehouse architect in my company.
I chose to use EA 17 beta 01 on Windows 10 due to new Data Warehousing perspective/profile.

My question is:
Has anybody already tried to connect (for reverse engineering) EA (either 16.1 or 17) to the Microsoft's newest product Fabric's lakehouse or warehouse?

Both lakehouse and warehouse has SQL connection point for (currently quite a limited) Transact-SQL usage, but underlying format of the tables is so called Delta-lake Parquet.
