General Board / Re: Converting the Model File to HTML Report

Thank you for your reply.
To enable or disable security, use the following menu chain: Settings->Security->Administer->Other->Enable Security.

However, the "Enable Security" menu command is grayed out, so I cannot deselect or select the "Enable Security" option.
Hovering over it displays the tool tip "Turn security on and off (requires input of a specific password"

How do I activate the "Enable Security" menu command?

Thanks for your reply.
It is a local copy of the original file, and it does not work.

General Board / Converting the Model File to HTML Report

Hello,I use Sparx EA v16.1.1627 (Ultimate Edition).I am trying to convert my model to an HTML Report, however, the commands

HTML-> Web Report:
"Standard HTML Report"
"Publish to Joomla!"

are grayed out, so I cannot click and produce the "Standard HTML Report" for the model file.

Also when I clicked on the Hamburger menu -> Documentation, whole command menu below are grayed out, so the commands cannot be executed.
Generate Documentation (RTF/PDF/DOCX)... F8
Publish as HTML... Shift+F8
Publish as Joomla! Article...
Diagrams Only Report... Ctrl+Shift+F8

Can you please help me active the command "Publish as HTML..." so that I can Publish the Model as HTML?

Thank you very much for your reply.
Yes, I missed the point that the perspectives are not added automatically.

Hello everyone,

I am having trouble installing the NAFv4-Core MDG Technology (version 2021.12) in Sparx Enterprise Architect. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

I asked my administrator to place the NAFv4-Core-MDG-2021.12.xml file in:
C:\Program Files\Sparx Systems\EA\MDG Technologies

The administrator also extracted the contents of NAFv4-Core.zip and placed them in:
C:\Program Files\Sparx Systems\EA\ModelPatterns\NAFv4-Core

I then activated the MDG Technology via Specialize → MDG Technologies → Advanced... by adding the folder path:
C:\Program Files\Sparx Systems\EA\ModelPatterns\NAFv4-Core

After restarting Sparx EA, the NAFv4-Core does not appear in the Create from Pattern tab under the Model Wizard, nor is it listed in the All Perspectives list.

Since I do not have administrator privileges, I had to rely on the admin to place the files in these locations, so the process has not been very smooth for me. Is there any advice on why the NAFv4-Core MDG Technology is not showing up for new projects? I’ve verified the file paths and MDG activation, but it still doesn’t appear in the Perspectives list.

Thanks in advance for your help!
