we are using the MDG Link for DOORS to import requirements into EA. Now I wanted to forbid some user groups to use this import feature. Is there any possibility to configure this via Security Feature or is their any another possibility?

is there any possibility to set up a tagged value as hyperlink. The name of the tag should only be a short description but the value should easily be clickable by user to jump to a website for example.

Hello everybody

I have a question concerning the dependency report in EA. As explained in the user guide I have specified a realtionship between a requirement and a use case with dragging the requirement over the use case. Of course a dependency was created. Now I thought I can create a dependency report which includes the relationship between the requirement and the use case because a realization is a derivate of a dependency but nothing was displayed.

Does anybody can tell me why not?

Hello everybody,

for a correct requirements traceability on a hierarachy model structure I need to instantiate the requirements. The problem is when I´ve build the instance, all of the property information like notes will be lost. I know there is another possibility with creating a simple link but I don´t want to update the requirements at all levels automatically. If you have any further ideas please let me know.

Hello everybody,

I´m trying to create a subset of the UML for our development. Therfore I´m creating some profiles with metaclasses and stereotypes. I need to create the fork/join metaclass for my activity profile, but EA does not provide any metaclass for that.

Does anybody know how to realize that?

Hello midnight,

I´ve created a realize dependency between an interface and one component element. The interface realizes the component. Now  I´ve added a new function to the interface but the realized component element won´t be updatet automatically.

Do I have to set any properties?
