Hi folks,

I've got a few questions...
Is there a way within EA to display query results in your diagram (or even create a new diagram to show the results)?

For example, I have a simple process with a few components linked to each activity step. I want to be able to build a query that basically says "show me all of the components with a value of 7 in Tagged Value 'X'". Ideally, the results would show up in a different colour.

Also, is there a way to do this with connectors? By this, I mean I want to have the ability to give a connector a score to indicate the importance of the relationship. Then, I would do the above but this time using the connectors to define a value in order build the query around to show the results.

I hope that's relatively clear...I'll soon find out.

Thanks

D

General Board / One click shows all relationships

Afternoon,

I randomly stumbled on, what I consider to be, a gem in EA yesterday. I clicked on an element in my diagram and all of the related elements were highlighted, whereas all the non-related elements were 'blued' out.

Does anyone know how I can get this functionality back? It was really handy to be able to see all links/relationships.

Thanks

General Board / Pre built relationships
« on: February 04, 2016, 04:09:32 am »
Hey,

So I've built a profile with and I've successfully imported it into a new EA file. Works fine.
However, I'd like to get more ambitious with it (if possible)...

I was wondering if there is a way to 'pre-build' dependencies and relationships for classes?

E.g. I want to drag in a class 'X' I've built from the diagram toolbox and with it already realized/dependent on 'class Y'.

Thanks
