General Board / Re: HTML Report

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your response.  Would you know what exactly needs to be edited to remove the project browser from my HTML output?  I'm not so great with coding.

Will do about issuing a request for the connector as it appears I'm not the only one that would find this useful.

Cheers,
Shailen

General Board / HTML Report

Hello,

I have two questions.

1. When I create an HTML output from EA, the project browser is also outputted to HTML.  Is there any way to create a HTML output without the project browser?

2. My second question is regarding using connectors in EA.  When I have one connector cross another, is there any way to identify that the connectors are crossing each other?  Ex. In visio they use a bump in the connector as if the connector is jumping over the other.

Thank You.

We are storing them as linked documents/document artifacts

General Board / EA Auditing

Quick EA question regardining auditing.  I have a model that comprimises of many attachments to documents.  I've created a document index detailing all the attached documents throughout my model. The model is quite big, so the index lets a user access the document if they don't know which business process it would be associated to.  I want to run and audit that tells me exactly where all the documents are located within my EA model.  Also I would like it to tell me if there are any documents that is listed in my index but not associated in my model.  How can I do this?

Thank You.

General Board / HTML Reporting

Hello,

I had a question regarding generating the HTML report.  When I generate the HTML report them the project browser appears on my html report, by accessing the index.htm file.  I can drag one side of the project browser closer to the other to decrease the size, however there is a limit on that.

How can I generate an HTML report without the project browser?

Thank You.

General Board / Re: Connector Color

Thanks for the response Aaron.  Can I only change the colors a single connector at a time?  Is there no way to select multiple connectors?  Only because my model is pretty big with over 200 diagrams.

General Board / Connector Color

Hello,

I've imported a file from rational rose into EA, however the color schema regarding the connectors is not reflected in EA.  Currently they are all black whereas I would like them to be maroon and orange.  Is there a way I can change the color of the connectors without having to re-draw the connectors.

I know I can go to tools>options and then select standard colors, but that doesn't change connectors that already appear on the diagram.

Thanks!

Yep works for me too.  Not too sure why it wasn't working in Michael's response.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the reply.  Would you be able to post the full link as the current link redirects me to the introduction to EA page.

Thanks.

I was wondering if this is possible in EA.  Would I be able to set up a Colour scheme as a default in EA, so that the users can set their preference in their own instance if they wish to, however when the diagrams are saved into a central repository it would be saved with the default colour?

Reason being is because I want to follow an IBM standard of color schema and I don't want my team changing the color.  Would I be able to generally lock the color options on the diagram?

Thank You!
