Has anyone know how to fix this issue?

I use EA v12.1 (1230).
I think, EA not implement this feature, total participation relationship between weak-entity,
it's mandatory feature!!

   I want to set total participation relationship between entity, but I cannot find it.

My ERD is          |Employee| -- <works for>-- |Department|

I want to set      |Employee| -- <<works for>> == ||Department||

How can I set the relationship   <<works for>>==||Department||

General Board / Native Font Import XMI truncation

When I export to xml and import to another package characters in “Condition” (Message in Sequence diagram) had truncated. It happens when I use Thai character (no error in English).



After export/import, some character in Condition was truncated.


I open the export file it has complete export, all of characters in "Condition".

I download EA11 RC1 and testing. This version almost perfect display.
There is one problem.
When I opened existing project and checked "Disable Spelling",
some word display with exceed space behind it.





So I edit the word that had extended-space by delete exceed space and save. Then re-edit again, it’s display correctly.  
But it take time to edit all of them.  

Please fix this inconvenience.

Thanks for your reply, Simon.

In issue 1, as your advise, I checked "Disable Spelling".
It display better in EA11 (some character still has space behind),
but nothing in EA9.3.

By these issues, today I still use EA9.3 and not renew.
These problem I notify EA-support team since Nov.2012
and I get Issue ID: 12124164  on Dec. 11, 2012.
No fixed in following version, EA10...
But it better in EA11 beta.
 
So, I'm very glad to hear that.

I download EA 11 beta2 and I found some problems with Native Font (I use Thai Font, EA9.3)

1. Display incorrect in "Notes" when editing (double click in Notes).


2. Generate document (report & html) display data (Thai font) in Notes incorrect, it display unicode like "[ch3594]&#..."


3. Wrapping word (Thai font) in component disappeared since EA10.
    (In EA9.3 it display correctly, but it lost since EA10)


I hope these problems will be solved before release new version.

I use EA12 (1215) to import DB from ODBC (DB2-10). There are no FK association in diagram.
So, I try to create 2 new Tables with FK in EA and use Database Builder generate table to DB. After that I import back to EA, FK link not show.

Then I use EA7.5, it import tables with FK association completely!!
What something wrong? Or have any special option must specific in EA12 ?

 I set the option following your advice, it export correctly.
  
  First, I think I can found this setting in
Tools | Options...

In EA12 has more setting in
Project | Settings | Project Options | Source Code Engineering

I have some question
There are same Source Code Engineering setup in
1) Tools | Options |Source Code Engineering  and
2) Project | Settings | Project Options | Source Code Engineering

If I setup some attribute conflict.
Which configure effect?

   In options dialog, there is no CSV option for setup.

Hello.
  I used Thai fonts in my project. When I export to CSV,
in EA11(1103) the contents in CSV readable , but in EA12(1207) the contents cannot read.

  Has anyone come across this issue?

   I update EA from 9.3(935) to 11(1113).
When I open EA file (create from EA9.3) in EA11.
I found a problem with Thai language word segmentation in EA11, but in EA9.3 it's display correct. In addition, the lines (sequence flow, message flow) are in a mess.

I got it.
So in prior EA, I do not have to choose the code page.
But in EA12, I must choose my code page for correctly exporting.
