OK... had to figure out why it did not work for me.

It works fine if both entities are classes.  However, If I pick the "TABLE" construct for one entity, and the class construct for the other, then I can replicate the behavior.

The Role DropDown includes list of attributes from Source Class.  I would expect for Role DropDown on Source Tab to list Attributes from Source Class and for Role DropDown on Target Tab to list Attributes from Target Class (or vice versa).

Of course, this implies that source & target class have different attributes.

I would not expect, however for role dropdown to contain the same attributes on both tabs.

I was looking for a solution for this problem.  But I think I found a bug in EA:

I would expect that in the drop-down for role, I would see attribute names for the appropriate classes.  Both tab drop-downs ("Target / Source") always show the same role names (which come from the source table).

We were hoping to use this to relate attributes between logical / physical models for a legacy COBOL-LIKE application reverse engineering exercise.

Although we can type in column names manually, it is majorly inconvenient to do so.  

Is this a bug?  Will there be a fix coming soon?

General Board / Help: Generating indented package hierarchy report

We're trying to generate a report that would look something like a screenshot of the project hierarchy.  None of the templates don't really work because our package hierarchy is sometimes more than 10 levels deep, and I've tried to create my own, but capturing the indenting does not seem to be possible, with a deep hierarchy.

We're not sure how to do this... any help / suggestions appreciated.

General Board / Search diagrams by diagram names

I'm using the EDIT --> FIND Menu option,

I'm trying to generate a search that would return me all DIAGRAMS that match a given name.  But the search does not include to diagrams.

Is there a way to include diagrams?

This also bares the question... is there a way to search for diagrams that may contain certain entities that match a given criteria?

General Board / Sorting when adding a new package.

Hi, using EA 6.0.781

I have tools --> options --> object --> sort features alphabetically unchecked.

I have tools --> options --> general --> allow free sorting checked.

Yet, every time I add a new package to a list of existing packages, EA sorts it IN the list.  I can move the package once its been added, but I'd rather add a package and have it go at the end or at the start.

We're adding a bunch of packages, and it's annoying to have to keep moving them at the end, once we've added it.
