General Board / Error in connecting to Oracle 9i Database

I'm attempting to perform a data transfer of an .EAP file to an Oracle 9i database. The proper SQL script has been run and I've tested the connection using SQL net.

When I attempt to setup the target model, I choose the "Oracle Provider for OLE DB"; enter in the proper service name, user id, and password; and successfully test the connection. However, when I select "OK", I receive the error..."Login Failed. Catalog information cannot be retrieved". What causes this error?

I tried this setup with MDAC 2.7 and updated to 2.8 sp 1. Still have the problem.

Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Displaying the Stereotype Name

I've created my own profile that extends the node classifier. I would like EA to display the stereotype text, by default, in the diagrams. How do you configure EA to do this?
