I did that, though I spoke to someone successfully using MS ODBC for Oracle. It seems that I got just a bit further and can connect, but the import still fails.

I am having no success importing the database schema from Oracle 10g using either Microsof ODBC for Oracle driver or Oracle ODBC driver. I get "The connection could not be made using the file data source paramaters entered...." with both. Needless to say, I fill in the same login values I use for other clients, for example, PLSQL Developer.
A baffling thing is that the sqlnet.log generated in the data sources directory has values for SID, USER etc which are totally different from those I provided.
Anyy suggestion how to deal with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
