General Board / Links custom properties

Hi All,

Does anyone know if it is possible to configure custom properties for different type of links? For example, for an association in the 'Advanced->Custom Properties' context menu I can see 'isDerived' property. For a generalization the same dialogue presents 'isSubstitutable'. And for aggregations there is no 'Custom Properties' sub-menu item available at all. How does one configure these though? Or is it possible at all?

I have tried to find an answer in the documentation and search this forum, but no luck so far. So any pointers are very much appreciated.

General Board / Finding all artefacts without notes

Hi All,

What is the easiest and quickest way in EA to find all artefacts in a class model, which do not have notes? I.e. I'd like to quickly find all classes, attributes, associations, etc., which have 'Notes' property empty.

Indeed. We only have a dozen of packages and already finding it difficult to manage as we need to re-generate the XSDs frequently. As the model evolves, we are expecting to have a few dozens of packages and at that stage generating a file per package is not going to be feasible at all.

Hi Pete,

Did you find a solution to this problem?

We have the same issue and ideally would like to generate one XSD file from the whole package hierarchy. I.e. when selecting "Generate XML schema..." at a package level, I would expect all child packages to contribute their classes into the resulting XSD. Is it possible to achieve in EA?
