Bugs and Issues / BPMN 2.0 Call Activity
« on: October 13, 2011, 01:56:50 am »
Is there a way to display the underlying reusable sub-process diagram from a Call Activity using the calledActivityRef tagged value?

Thanks

Bob

Bugs and Issues / Re: Message Flows between Elements (BPMN modeling)
« on: October 13, 2011, 01:53:58 am »
I am having a similar issue (frustration). It seems to have a mind of its own but is especially difficult when elements have been re-sized. If possible, could someone tell us what the default connection type should be so that SPARX duplicates the connection style of version 8.x.

Bugs and Issues / Duplicate Connector Name on Diagram
« on: August 19, 2011, 06:13:38 am »
I have created a BPMN diagram containing Business Processes and have created Association connections between processes. When I name the connectors in the Properties Box the name entered is duplicated on the diagram. The two names can be moved independently but contain the same name as is contained in the properties. This is not occurring on another diagram that also has Associations between Business Processes.

Bugs and Issues / Re: Deleting Stereotype
« on: November 30, 2010, 11:34:00 pm »
Thanks for your help.

It is very doubtful if the stereotype will exist - it is "managed mandates".  I have also tried to simply capitalize the stereotype - i.e. change it to Managed Mandates. It does add this stereotype but the lowercase version always is selected and is displayed. As well it just doesn't seem to want to go away.

Bugs and Issues / Deleting Stereotype
« on: November 30, 2010, 02:30:40 am »
I have added a UML attribute stereotype in error and cannot delete it from the UML types. I have the required authorization and no classes have an attribute with this stereotype. When I go to the UML Types screen and select the stereotype to delete, it looks as if it does the requested action but when I scroll through the list it is always still there.

Is there an explanation or solution to this problem?

Bugs and Issues / Re: Working with BPMN Pools and Lanes

Thanks to both of you. I did find that the z-order and making the pools non-selectable did help. It is good to get some assurance that others have had the problem and I'm not just getting grumpy in my old age.

We are currently using 7.5.844. Have there been any BPMN fixes in the more recent builds? I would upgrade but the corporate help desk has to be involved so there is a bit of a bureaucratic muddle to cut through.

Thanks

Bugs and Issues / Working with BPMN Pools and Lanes
« on: August 22, 2009, 12:06:04 am »
I am havng a very frustrating time trying to position and size BPMN lanes within pools. The product seems to have taken on a mind of its own - when a lane is moved or re-sized it is sometimes repositioned to the very left of the pool, hiding the pool name. Sometimes the lanes are captive and sometimes they aren't - i.e. they might move with the pool or they might not.  They also seem to be captured by one another when you are doing fine adjustments in their positions. Is there any additional guidance on how to deal with these issues?
