Hi, as far i know EAP is a MS Access database.
Is there the possibility to change the way EA store's its data in SQL than in MS Access Database?

(or best in XAMPP)

Hi, made a profile (hopefully)

by adding a Package to my package and have given that package the stereotype "profile" as described in the EA Guide.

When i double-click a element on my diagram and choose "stereotype" [...] the Profile is not shown in the list "Profile: " .

Do some know why or a better way to make Profiles?

The EA-Model is in .eap and i need it in EMF-UML2 .

Edit: I tried the "yakindu-bridge" to transfer the EA-Model into a EMF-UML2 model - that worked with basic uml types , but all stereotypes and profiles like the SysML one disappeared.

Hi,

i tried to transfer  a EA model in a UML2 model - but the stereotypes and profiels disappear - is there a addin or known software wich provides this transformation ?

Or a tutorial to do something like that?

Hi,

i can't find the part where the "navigatorControl" with its view buttons and fields is implemented into the "Add-In" window of EA.

I also not sure about the nature of the Add-In window - can i apply a "System.Windows.Forms" to it ?

Hi again, iam still gather experience (and frustation too) with EA Automation.

I have the imagination of using Addins for launching CS Scripts (with CS Script engine?) wich do the most work of selecting, filtering, gathering informations from the EA model (like i often asked in other threads too).

On the other side i would like to collect similar informations about the element i have currently selected in the model. Wich i suppose is only manageable through Addins?:

"Because the Add-In receives object handles associated with
the currently running copy of Enterprise Architect, more
information is available about the current user's activity; for
example, which diagram objects are selected" User Guide PDF-Page 2604.

My internship-boss asked me for the cs-skript engine thing for easy/fast edditing. Iam open for new ideas.

May some of you have ideas wich prevent me to walk in the wrong directory for days or weeks ^^?  :-?
