Open recently opend diagrams of a project
« on: February 26, 2009, 09:00:10 pm »
Hi all,

At the moment, even in 7.5 beta, it seems that there is no possiblity to activate an option for automatically reopen all recently opend diagrams of a project after opening a project. :o

And that's really annoying because every day I've to select and reopen about fifteen diagrams out of about fifty (it's the NUnit 2.5.0.9015, beta 2 project where I currently have to deal with. >:(

Suggesting greetings

Look up Save Project As | Shortcut... in the EA help index. I think you have more options when using a DBMS repository than an EAP file (but that limitation might have been removed).
No, you can't have it!

Hi Midnight,

this is almost what I searched for even if I've to create a shortcut on my desktop.  :D

Perhaps they could at some new keywords for it because I did not thought on shortcuts and save as as I typed the words. It was more like 'open recent diagrams'.  ;)

Thankful greetings

Reiner

HOW good is Midnight or what!  :)

All kidding aside, I have said it repeatedly, the EA forum community is a great group and one of the best assets of a great product.

Everyone have a great weekend!

BTW, this weekend I am continuing my reading two good books:
  • Advanced Use Case Modeling, software Systems, by Frank Armour and Granville Miller, 2001 (ISBN: 0-201-61592-4, Addison-Wesley, Object Technology Series) - A very good book for both those new to use case modeling and experienced veterans. It has very practical advice on a complex subject that is often botched in the real world, and
  • Essential Software Testing, A Use-Case Approach, by Greg Fournier, 2009 (ISBN: 978-1-4200-8981-3, CRC Press) - Have just started marking it up after a quick skim, so this weekend hunching down and reading through it... It seems to map pretty well with chapter 14 (Create Test Cases and Documentation) of the 1st book I mentioned.
