Import Schema from ODBC - no dialog box.

I'm attempting, for the first time, to reverse engineer a database.
.
I follow the instructions:
Project | Database Engineering | Import DB Schema from ODBC

but I never see the dialogue box shown in the documentation.
The dialog box is not off screen or behind the main window.

The package is locked.
All the menu options are enabled (not greyed out).
I believe that I have the correct security permissions.
Using EA 7.5.844 on WXP SP3
Using a SQL Server 2005 repository
Using Windows Server 2003

Using EA16.1 (1627) on Windows 11 Enterprise/64 bit. Repositories in SQLServer2019 DB Schema 1558.
