Checking statues of Locks

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to determine two things: one being, the user of a currently locked package/element using automation interface in EA(who the lock belongs too). Two, I need to determine if a package/element currently has a lock on it. I looked through the API and found nothing, any advice, or if I missed it let me know.
