BUG: Containment vs Containment
« on: October 29, 2006, 09:59:46 pm »
In a related topic, BUG: Attribute/AssociationEnd NOT paired, I discuss how for an existing Attribute/AssociationEnd pairing, if I change one side, the other side should change correspondingly.

This topic is related...  Both the Attribute and the AssociationEnd have a Containment: they are inconsistently managed...
The Attribute uses a combo box, the AssociationEnd uses a list box (1 element high).
The Attribute combo box has the values: By Reference, By Value, Not Specified, the AssociationEnd list box the values: Reference, Unspecified, Value.
Selecting the "By Reference" value on the Attribute causes the "By Reference" indicator (typically a *) to be appended to the Attribute Name on the class.  Selecting the "By Reference" value on the AssociationEnd causes no detectable change.

Can these be fixed please...

Confused...
