Support metatype in searches

We've taken advantage of EA's Metatype feature to make human readable metatypes which are related to (in this case) contracted form stereotypes.

We've tried to move users away from type+stereotype to the simpler metatype.

However,there is NO support for metatypes in searches. :(

Can we have a metatype field for output (in addition to Type & Stereotype)
Can we then, also, have a metatype filter provided?
