package created under checked in package

I have a MDG tech with a profile containing stereotyped packages.
If i open a diagarm any where (checked out) but focus on the tree on a checked in package and drop a pckage from the tool box to the diagram it gets added under the checked in package!!

(of course checking out solves it)

Hi Martin,

Thanks for pointing this out.

This issue (the package being place incorrectly in the tree) is currently logged as a bug to be fixed, although it does not mention the ability to potentially place the new package in a checked out location.
I will add your additional details.
