Deleting Unused Diagram Elements
« on: April 09, 2004, 01:44:06 pm »
Is there a way to identify and delete unused elements that appear in the project tree but are not used on the current diagram?

If I right-click on an element in the tree I can identify and delete individual elements by looking to see if "Locate in Current Diagram" is enabled, but I'm hoping there is an easy way to do this en-mass.

Thanks in advance!

If you use the Find feature and check "Find orphans", you will find elements that are not used in any diagram (not only the current one). I have been told it is possible to delete multiple elements from there.
From the project tree you can use "Show usage" (Ctrl-U) to find out where or if an individual element is used.

Thanks Mikkel... deleting orphans from the find feature works great!
