WSDL Transformation: Set WSDL properties
« on: June 18, 2007, 02:18:28 am »
Hi all,

I'm trying to transform a UML package (with classes + diagrams) to WSDL. I'm kind of new to model transformations in EA and have run into problems.

I've searched through the forum and read the EA user manual - but still have problems.

1) I would like to set the target namespace for the WSDL package. I cannot find out how to access this property from the WSDL Transformation Template(s). Should I use a tagged value on the package in UML and read this during transformation?

2) I would like to set the XML namespaces on the WSDL component - hardcoded or via Tagged Values. How can I get access to these properties from the Transformation Templates?

3)How can I set the WSDL Binding transport property? After a default WSDL transformation I can open the dialog and edit the property in the WSDL model, but my input is not stored when I press OK. This is only when the WSDL model is transformed from UML. Is there a reason why the transformed WSDL model behaves differently from a from_scratch_made WSDL model?

I will continue my investigations on these problems, and reading the help files and the forum posts. However, if anyone have a solution to my problems at hand, I would really appreciate a reply to this post.

Thanks in advance,
