RTF Image Size
« on: May 16, 2007, 02:12:34 am »
When exporting the RTF document with images if the image is bigger than the page or its place holder it doesn't get resized.

You can of course resize it after in the exported document, but is it possible to automatically resize the images for export?

I would like to find a solution to this as well. I have the same situation where an image is bigger than a page and resizing it after generation will not work in this case (the end-users will find it tedious and unacceptable).

I would like to find a way to either resize the image to fit on a page via the RTF generator (my hopes are not high on that) or, alternatively, an option in word similar to text flow across boundaries but for images (hopes not high on that either) or something else...

Regards,
Mark.
Cheers, Mark

The Advanced button on the Diagram tab of the diagram Properties has some scaled printing options that look promising; such as,
- Scale to 1 Page
- Custom, X pages wide Y pages tall

But setting Scale to 1 page still doesn't work - but it ALMOST works. The page sizes are consistent (A4) but it still misses the bottom of the diagram (even with margins all set to 0)
