Trouble Installing EA (Error creating XML parser)

Hello,

I hope that this isn't off topic for this forum but I poked around the website and couldn't find an area dedicated to install issues.  In any event, I've just recently tried to install Enterprise Architect 6.1 on a Windows 2000 box.  The installer launches and I'm guided through the setup dialog boxes without any trouble but then, finally, the installer dies with a message complaining that there was an error creating the XML parser.  Nonetheless, entries for EA had been added to my start menu but when I try and launch the product I get the same error XML parser error.  I have no idea what the problem is or how to diagnose it.  If anyone could shed some light on the situation, I'd really appreciate it.  Thanks in advance.
