fit diagram to one page when printing?
« on: February 16, 2006, 02:53:33 am »
Hi!

I have database diagram that i would like to print on a single a3 sheet, currently it spans over four a3 sheets.

I could not find a way to scale the diagram to fit to one page.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks!

Not really. You can print into a virtual PDF printer and scale afterwards using other tools. Or you copy/paste the diagram into a pubishing software where you scale it. The recommendation for EA: use multiple small diagrams to express certain aspects rather than creating wall papers.

Wouldn't the "Scale image to page size" option help ?

It's available on Diagram Properties/Page Size Advanced button/Scale to one page radio button.   You can set the page size here as well,  so a combination of A3/Scale image to page size seems to fit your requirement.
