Block states for certains users in EA

In element's Properties window, we have the chance to change its state (using the state combo box). Is there a way that certain users only see some of those states, and don't see some others?
The intention is to avoid some users to put a certain element in a certain state which he's not autorized to see.

You probably have to ask for an enhancement (within security).
