Move External and Auto Name Counters

Hi all,
 I have found that when I have an auto name counter set for requirements; and I create an internal requirement (on a use case) then move external the requirement doesnt get auto named. Explicitly created external requirements get auto names OK.

 My question(s) :
 Is this expected or broken behaviour?
 Is my use of move external unexpected when I have existing external requirements.

Hard to tell. There has been quite some discussion around internal (responsibilities) and external requirements (try a search). The auto-counters itself do not work very consistent. Sometimes they are auto-generated, sometimes you need to press a button. Most times the generated counter is selected so you need to right-move to add the real name. I guess you are out of luck when asking for improvements here (there have been some requests, still on our wishlist).

 Thanks for the info.  Ill work around this by only using the external requirements.
